Lily’s Memorial Chapel was conceived as a small Orthodox memorial church commissioned by a father in honor of his daughter, Lily, whose life was marked by uncommon faith, gentleness, and courage. Designed with Lily’s own participation and blessing while she was still able to share her wishes, the project transforms personal grief into a lasting sacred space. Planned for construction in Kansas in 2026, the chapel is intended to accommodate 68 people and to host small liturgical services, memorial gatherings, and quiet prayer.
Architecturally, the project is envisioned not only as a place of remembrance, but also as a living witness to Christian hope. Though modest in scale, the chapel is designed to possess the dignity and spiritual presence of a true Orthodox sanctuary. It stands as a tribute to a short yet deeply meaningful life and as a place where memory, love, and faith are given enduring form.
